2015 Asia-Pacific Mercury Monitoring Network
The Asia-Pacific Mercury Monitoring Network (APMMN) workshop facilitates regional cooperation and improves capabilities for monitoring atmospheric mercury concentrations and wet deposition of mercury. This invitation-only workshop will include approximately 30 participants from more than 10 different countries representing national environmental agencies, academia, non-governmental organizations, and other sectors.
This workshop is a follow-up to a series of the mercury monitoring technical workshops held on in Washington, D.C., Taipei and Hanoi since September 2012, which included representatives from Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United States and Vietnam, etc. This year, the workshop will be held in Minamata, Japan by Environmental Protection Administration Taiwan and United States Environmental Protection Agency in collaboration with Japan Society for Environmental Chemistry, which serves as a local host of APMMN.
